Release Notification Product Update HERE Platform for Business 10/2016 (D73)

Dear Customer,

please be advised that a new release (D73) of the HERE Platform for Business is now available on the Production environment (PRD).

We send this email to all those who apply for access credentials to the platform, based on the information they provide when registering.

This email includes release notes that describe the improvements to the services in the new release. This release includes updates of:Geocoder API, HLP Routing API, Map Image API, Map Tile API, Traffic API, Positioning API, Waypoint Sequence Extension, Custom Location Extension, Platform Data Extension, Toll Cost Extension, Fleet Connectivity Extension and Route Match Extension.

As well, we will publish the release documentation on the Developer Portal.

Geocoder API

Version 6.2.122

Indonesia was updated and is now also based on 2016Q3 data. This is a major map update for Indonesia with correction of the administrative structure to reflect reality.
India: Further improved logic to tolerate noise and other details in queries in order to return better results at street or house number levels.
Australia: Fixed address search for addresses in city centers (central districts) where the city name is the same as the name of the surrounding municipality (e.g. Melbourne).
Disputed Borders: Serbian-Croatian Islands Vukovar and Sarengrad are now no-mans lands (empty responses from Reverse Geocoder).

HLP Routing API

Version 7.2.73

We improved heuristic for truck routing calculation.

Map Image API

Version 1.6.36.5

Added a new parameter nolbl that hides labels.
Added a new map style daisy.

Positioning API

Version 1.1.2

This is the initial release with the following features:

WLAN positioning
Cell positioning for 2G/3G/4G (GSM, CDMA, WCDMA, TD-SCDMA, and LTE)
Cell + WLAN positioning

Custom Location Extension API

Added page-by-page retrieval to the resources /2/search/all.json and /2/search/ all.txt when scrolling through large amounts of geometries in a layer in editor GUIs.

Platform Data Extension API

Version 1.6.3

Added the following POI search functions to the tile retrieval functions: Bounding Box, Corridor, Proximity, Quad Key.
Added column ISO_COUNTRY_CODE to the distance marker layers in order to make distance markers searchable by country, road name and mile value.
